GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team earned a 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference victory Saturday over the visiting Waynesburg Yellow Jackets.

Freshman Alex Kitta (Everson, Pa./Southmoreland) scored the only goal of the contest when she put away an errant clearance by the Waynesburg goalkeeper.

Thiel goalkeeper Kim Gentry (Madison, Ohio/Madison) made five saves to earn the first shutout of her collegiate career.

The Tomcats will be back in action Tuesday, Oct. 14 when they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to face the Westminster Titans. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
