GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team was defeated by the Grove City Wolverines 9-0 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Friday.

Nicole Carlton (Beloit, Ohio/West Branch) played a close match in the No. 6 singles match but lost to Julie Becker 7-5, 6-1.

The Tomcats (3-7, 1-6 PAC) will be back in action Monday, Oct. 13 at 4 p.m. when they travel to New Concord, Ohio to take on the Muskingum University Muskies.
