Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. –
Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) played perhaps the best game of her career to lead the Thiel Tomcats to a come-from-behind 76-73 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over the Bethany Bison Saturday at Beeghly Gymnasium.

Trailing by nine points at the half (37-28), Watkins keyed the Tomcats' comeback with career bests in points (28) and rebounds (14). She also contributed two assists, two blocks and two steals.

The Bison led by 10 points on three occasions in the second half, but a tremendous effort by the Tomcats over the final 2:30 was enough to secure the PAC victory.

Watkins scored two points inside the paint at the 2:30 mark to cut Bethany's lead down to seven points. After a defensive stop, Watkins cut the lead down to five points with another bucket inside the paint.

On Bethany's ensuing possession, senior guard
Bethany Hines (Youngstown, Ohio/Youngstown Early College) came up with a steal, which led to a three-pointer by sophomore point guard
Kayla Welty (Portville, N.Y./Portville ) from the left wing, which made it a 2-point game with 67 seconds remaining in regulation.

After another Bison turnover,
Cimone Reid (Toledo, Ohio/Ottawa Hills) scored the game-tying points on a jumper from just inside the three-point line with just 47 seconds remaining on the game clock.

The Tomcats secured the win down the stretch by making three-of-four shots from the charity stripe. Hines made two of the freebie shots while freshman
Laken Shields (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) also sank one free shot.

In addition to Watkins, Reid also had a strong game for the Tomcats with 17 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Gabrielle Naples led the Bison with 24 points. Sami Scott also scored 10 points to go along with 11 rebounds while Taylor Verrico chipped in 10 points.

The Tomcats (3-6, 2-1 PAC) will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
