WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis squad was dealt an 8-1 loss Friday by the Washington and Jefferson Presidents in Presidents' Athletic Conference play.

Lauren Wolfe (Anita, Pa./Punxsutawney) picked up the lone singles victory for the Tomcats, defeating the Presidents' Alexa Gross at sixth singles 6-4, 6-2.

Thiel will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28 when they host Chatham University at 1 p.m.
