GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to the visiting Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets Tuesday.

Tomcat freshman Lauren Wolfe (Anita, Pa./Punxsutawney) had a hand in both of her team's victories. She won her #6 singles match against Waynesburg's Hannah Hixon 6-0, 6-0.  Wolfe also teamed up with sophomore Sandy Rodeheaver (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) to defeat Waynesburg's #3 doubles team of Lauren Cowden and Hixon 8-6.

Thiel hosts Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Grove City College on Thursday, Oct. 3 for a 3:30 p.m. match.
