Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – Despite being out-shot by a sizeable margin, the Thiel women's soccer team was able to keep its game close with Westminster on wet and rainy Wednesday night. Unfortunately, the Tomcats came up just short of victory as the Titans picked up a 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference win.
 
Westminster (8-5-1, 3-0-1) scored the night's only point in the 54th minute of the contest and went on to out-shoot Thiel (6-7, 0-4) by a 15-to-6 margin. The Titans also held a sizeable 11-to-4 advantage in corner kicks.
 
Even though it came in a loss, freshman Jessica Scott (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) played another solid game in net by making three saves and giving up just the one goal. Junior Chey Ross (Sigel, Pa./Brookville) led the Tomcat attack, taking two shots.

The Tomcat kickers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 19 when they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on Saint Vincent College. The match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
