GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team (1-1, 0-0 PAC) earned its first win of the 2012 season Tuesday in a 2-0 shutout over visiting Mount Aloysius.
 
Kelsey Adair (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata Senior ) gave the Tomcats an early 1-0 lead 4:53 into the contest. Thiel doubled its lead with less than three minutes remaining in the first half when Emily Skebo (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) scored from the right wing off of Danielle Lukaszewicz (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carlynton )'s pass.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Mary Oakey (Baltimore, Md. /Mercy ) made one stop to earn her first career shutout with the Tomcats. Oakey has made 13 saves on 16 shots in two starts.
 
Thiel will travel to Monaca, Pa., Thursday to take on Penn State Beaver. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
