HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss Saturday in its season opener to the Juniata Eagles.

Freshman Mary Oakey (Baltimore, Md. /Mercy ) (Baltimore, Md./Mercy) made 12 saves on 15 shots in her first collegiate start for the Tomcats.

Jenna Rodriguez led the Eagles with two goals while Michaela Lacek scored one goal.

Thiel's first home contest of the season is Tuesday against Mount Aloysius. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
