Greenville, Pa. – For the third time in a row in his career, Tomcat forward
Blair Rozenblad (Youngstown, Ohio/Kennedy Catholic) has been named to the All Great Lakes Region team, capturing his second, second-team award following his 2011-12 campaign.
Rozenblad had arguably his best all-around season of his career as a Tomcat as he averaged a double-double on the year, scoring a team-best 15.5 points per game, and grabbing a conference-high and team-high 11.0 rebounds. Rozenblad ended the season with 13 double-doubles on the year and finished the season ranked 18
th in country in rebounds per game. The second-team award for Rozenblad came after a second-team nomination last season and a nod as the Great Lakes Rookie of The Year his freshman season.
Through three seasons as a Tomcat, Rozenblad has made his mark on the history of Thiel basketball. He currently ranks sixth all-time in points (1,302) and had the top coring season of all time during his freshman campaign in 2009-10, scoring 544 points. Blair also ranks sixth all-time in rebounds (661).
With the honor, Rozenblad joins Bethany's Nick Wilcox as the only two Presidents' Athletic Conference players to garner all-Region honors, and Rozenblad has also become the first Tomcat to earn all-regional distinction three times.
