WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The women's tennis squad was dealt an 8-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference loss Tuesday by Waynesburg University.

Liz Moir (Brentwood, Pa./Baldwin) picked up the lone singles victory for the Tomcats, defeating the Yellow Jackets' Markie Gustafson at three singles 6-3, 2-6, 10-6.

Thiel will return to action on Thursday, Oct. 11 when they host Saint Vincent College. First serve is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
