The Tomcat women's soccer (3-4-2) team was handed a tough loss at the hands of the Hilbert College Hawks (5-3) 2-1 in overtime on Thursday evening at Alumni Stadium.??
 
Thiel struck first scoring their lone goal in the 32^nd minute as Alliana Hardgrove (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) found the back of the net off of a great pass by Karen Wolfe (Troy, Pa./Troy Senior). The goal was the first for Hardgrove on the season.
 
??The Hawks responded by tying the game 1-1 early in the second period with a goal from Alyssa Hulbert and the game would remain tied at the end of regulation play, sending the Tomcats into their third overtime of the season and third in a row at Alumni Stadium. 
 
Alyssa Hulbert once again would come through for the Hawks as she scored the game-winning goal off of a penalty kick with just 36 seconds to play to hand Thiel the 2-1 loss.
 
The Tomcats will be back in action this weekend for Homecoming as they take on Salem International at 1 p.m. The game is scheduled to be played at the Greenville Soccer Complex.
