MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Tomcat men's and women's tennis teams were both defeated 9-0 by Allegheny College on Thursday in Meadville.

On the men's side, the Gators defeated Thiel 9-0 with most games not conceding a single set. Only Louie Rubin (Lock Haven, Pa., Central Mountain) at #1 singles and the pair of Shinjiro Todaka (Tokyo, Japan, Hyuga-gakuin ) and Josh Bartsch (Pittsburgh, Pa., The Kiski School) at #3 doubles were able to take a set during the contest.

On the women's side of the competition, the Allegheny women held the Tomcats without a set victory on their way to the 9-0 victory.

The Tomcat men will next be in action on Saturday when they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to compete against PAC foe Saint Vincent. First serve is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
