BETHANY, W. Va. – The women's tennis squad suffered an 8-1 loss to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Bethany College Wednesday afternoon in Bethany, W. Va.

Amy Nacey (Delmont, Pa./Greensburg-Salem) secured the Tomcats' lone victory of the day, posting a straight-set 6-0, 6-0 win over Katrin Stiefel at number six singles.

Thiel returns to action on Friday, Oct. 21 at the 2011 PAC Championships. The two-day event will be hosted at Pennbriar Fitness & Racquet Club in Erie.
