GREENVILLE, Pa. - The women's soccer team (4-9-2, 0-2-0 PAC) was shutout 5-0 tonight at home against the visiting Grove City Wolverines.
 
In the 19^th minute, Grove City's Emily Hurley scored the first goal of the game off an assist by Jessica Heck. That would be the only goal of the half, as the Wolverines took the 1-0 lead into the break.
 
In the second half, Sarah Flenniken assisted Sarah Cessar for the second goal for Grove City, making the score 2-0.  In the 50^th minute, Sam Weber had an unassisted goal pushing the score 3-0.  The Wolverines would post their fourth goal from Emily Hurley as she connected with the back of the net from Jessica Heck.  The last goal came in the 82^nd minute from Sarah Peachy.  Shannon Bishop had the assist.
 
The Tomcats return to action on Saturday when they take on the Cougars of Chatham University.  Game time at Alumni Stadium is set for 1 pm.
