BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Thiel women's soccer squad was dealt a 1-0 defeat Saturday night by D'Youville College, dropping their season mark to 1-5. 

Despite allowing the game's only score, senior goalkeeper Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa., Hopewell) posted a season-high 15 saves, her most in a contest since recording 16 against Bluffton University on September 19, 2009.

D'Youville (4-2) finished with a 27-4 advantage in shots (16-0 SOG) while maintaining a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

The game's only score was posted in the 29th minute, a Thiel own goal that lifted the Spartans to the 1-0 win.

The Thiel women return to action on Monday, September 20 when they travel to Pitt-Bradford for a 2 p.m. contest.
