GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel College women's soccer team fell for the eighth straight contest as they were defeated by the Presidents of Washington & Jefferson by a score of 5-0 on Wednesday at Alumni Stadium in Greenville.

W&J got on the board first in the 24th minute on a goal by Ariel Shasko off an assist from Emma Donahey. The Presidents would add two more goals as Cheyenne Mangold scored back-to-back goals less than one minute apart. The Presidents would hold off Thiel and take the 3-0 lead into the half.

W&J would put more distance between themselves and the Tomcats as they added two more goals in the second half to win the game by a score of 5-0.

Thiel (2-16; 0-7 PAC) will finish their season on Friday as part of a senior day double header against Waynesburg University. The men's game will kick off at 1 p.m. and the women are scheduled to play immediately after.
