BETHANY, W. Va. -- The Thiel College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Bethany College on Wednesday in Bethany.

The Tomcats (2-14; 0-5 PAC) played well in the first half and senior keeper Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa., Hopewell) kept the Bison at bay as she made seven saves to keep the score 0-0 at the half.

The Bison (7-7-1; 2-3 PAC) capitalized early in the second half as Cassie Spalding scored the first of her three goals on the day just one minute into the half. Spalding would add two more goals in the 55th and 56th minute to give Bethany the 3-0 lead. Bethany would add one more goal to make the final 4-0 and hand the Tomcats their fifth straight PAC loss.

Thiel will continue PAC play on Friday against Westminster. The contest in New Wilmington is scheduled for 6 p.m.
