GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team dropped a pair of Presidents' Athletic Conference matches in a tri-match at Grove City College on Saturday.
Match one saw the Tomcats fall to Thomas More College by a score of 9-0. Seniors
Lyndsey Peters (Harmony, Pa., Riverside) and
Marcy Lee (Mckeesport, Pa., South Allegheny) gave the Tomcats the best chance for a match win in #1 doubles as they fell 4-7.
Match two pitted the Tomcats against reigning PAC champion Grove City College. The Wolverines did not lose a set to Thiel in the 9-0 victory.
The Tomcats will next compete on Tuesday October 19 against PAC foe Westminster. The match in New Wilmington is scheduled for 3 p.m.
