Alfred, NY (September 6, 2009) -- The women of Thiel College soccer fell, 1-0, to the Hilbert College Hawks on Sunday at the Alfred Tournament finals.

While the Tomcat offense struggled to get a shot off, junior goalkeeper Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Aliquippa, Pa/Hopewell) performed with valor has she tallied another 10 saves in the losing effort, bringing her tournament total to 33.  

The defensive duo of Harry and senior Jamie Dawson (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside) (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside) earned all-tournament honors at the conclusion of Thiel's run at Alfred.

The women return to action for their home opener against the University of Pitt-Greensburg Wednesday, Sept. 9.
