Cesson, Pa. (September 1, 2009) -- The Thiel College women's soccer team saw both their 20-game winless streak and nine-game scoreless streak end Tuesday with a 2-1 victory over the Mounties of Mount Aloysius.

The Tomcats unleashed a new wrinkle in their offense by having perennial all-PAC goalkeeper, Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell), try her hand at the offensive end of things and she didn't disappoint.  The Aliquippa, Pa native scored the first goal (47:00) of the game off a Rebecca Quintet (Girard, Pa./Girard) and set up freshman forward, Karen Galina Wolfe (Troy/Troy) for game clinching score at the 61 minute mark.

The women of Thiel will return to action Thursday, Sept. 3 against Francisican University in Steubenville, Ohio at 4:00 p.m.
