Simply the Best

Greenville, Pa. (February 27, 2009) -- There are very few constants in this world but, seeing the name  Amber Bodrick (Youngstown, OH/Cardinal Mooney) on the list of first team all-PAC selections has become about as reliable as the sunrise.  This marks the fourth consecutive year that Bodrick has been named among the best in the PAC, the first player in Thiel College history to receive such an honor.

In her 2008-09 campaign Bodrick finished the season ranked first in the PAC in scoring (17.1 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (8.1 rpg) despite each being a career low.  Those numbers, along with the fact that she is ranked sixth in steals (55) and fifth in blocked shots (31), makes it known that a Bodrick down year would be any other players dream season.

If one was to open up the Thiel College women's basketball all-time record book, it would read almost like a bio for the Ohio scoring dynamo with her name appearing in just about every top ten list.  Bodrick finishes her career with 1867 points (second all-time), 733 field goals (first all-time), 828 rebounds (tied for third), 96 blocked shots (third), 194 steals (sixth all-time, and 202 assists (ninth).

With all four of her single season scoring outputs ranking in the top ten in Thiel College history , Bodrick is one of the most decorated scoring in Thiel College and Presidents' Athletic Conference history.

Bodrick capped off her career with a 26 point, 13 rebound explosion over the Grove City Wolverines in the first round of the PAC Tournament.
