Latrobe, Pa. (February 11, 2009) -- The Tomcats dropped their fifth consecutive game Wednesday to the Bearcats of Saint Vincent College, 64-73.

After capturing a five-point lead in the first half, Thiel managed to only get within two points of St. Vincent throughout the rest of the game.  Even as they out rebounded the Bearcats 41-30 and shot over 46 percent from beyond the arc, Thiel just couldn't get over the hump.

Thiel was led by senior duo, Amber Bodrick (Youngstown, OH/Cardinal Mooney) and Catie Seiber, who scored 16 and 12 points respectively.  To go along with her 16 points, Bodrick snatched nine rebounds and tallied a couple of steals.  Sophomore forward Kim Stitt (Hermitage, PA/Hickory) put in 12 points of her own, to go with nine rebounds, while Ashley Davis (Cleveland, Ohio/St. Peter Chanel) scored eight points and grabbing eight boards.

With the PAC Tournament just beyond the horizon, the 'Cats will be looking to turn things around and win these next few games to secure a favorable seed.
