LATROBE, Pa. – Saint Vincent jumped out to a 22-4 lead and never looked back in an, 84-56, win over Thiel in men's basketball action Wednesday night.

The Tomcats and Bearcats each pulled down 37 boards, but Thiel's 19 turnovers proved too much to overcome. Saint Vincent ripped the Tomcats for 29 points off of turnovers.

In a bright spot for the blue and gold, Greg Andrle (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) put together his best showing of the season with a team-high-tying 12 points, 10 of which came in the second half. Nick Sefscik (Allison Park, Pa./Shaler) also scored 12 points in addition to a team-best six rebounds.

Saint Vincent's Joey Butler led all scorers with 20 points. Five Bearcats scored in double figures.

Thiel (2-19, 1-9 Presidents') welcomes Westminster on Saturday for a 3 p.m. game.
