Crestview Hills, Ky (January 28, 2009) -- The Tomcat's proved no match for the 13th ranked Thomas More Saints as they suffered a 64-31 setback in the snowy hills of Kentucky.

The Saints defense was stifling, holding the visiting 'Cats to shooting just 26% from the field and forcing a total of 27 turnovers.  No Thiel player seemed able to answer the bell offensively as the Tomcat's didn't have a single person reach double figures.

Thiel forward Towanda-Michelle Warren (Solon, OH/Solon) scored a team-high nine points and grabbed four rebounds.

Jayme Thiem and Nicole Dickman led the way for the Saints scoring 14 and 10 points respectively, while Thomas More as a team shot 49% from the field.

Thiel will return to action Saturday, Jan. 30, when they face the Chatham Cougars in the snowy confines of Greenville, Pa.
