GREENVILLE, Pa. – Geneva College's Justin and Emilio Nardi teamed up for 36 points, as the Golden Tornadoes dropped Thiel College, 88-71, in men's basketball action Saturday afternoon at Beeghly Gymnasium.
Emilio Nardi came off the bench in the first half to fire a perfect five-for-five from beyond the arc, and wound up with 17 points. Justin Nardi used a nine-of-10 performance from the free throw line and a five-for-eight day from the field on his way to 19 points.
Thiel operated efficiently on offense, shooting close to 60 percent from the floor, including a 13-for20 second half.
Devinney's 18 represented a season high and his fourth-consecutive game in which he has scored in double figures.
Thiel (1-14; 0-5 Presidents') begins a three-game road trip when it visits Grove City on Wednesday, Jan. 21 for an 8 p.m. contest.
