GREENVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 7, 2008) – The Thiel College women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday, falling, 2-1, to Muskingum College at Alumni Stadium.

Despite being outshot, 33-3, on the afternoon, Thiel managed to stay in the game thanks in no small part to a 10-save day by sophomore goalkeeper Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell).

Thiel drew first blood in the match on a shot fired by junior Ashley Williams (Leavittsburg, Ohio/LaBrae) (Leavittsburg, Ohio/LaBrae) in the contest's 22nd minute.  Sophomore Rachel Finch (Beaver Falls/Blackhawk) (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) delivered an assist on the tally.

Thiel returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 11, when they travel to La Roche for a 3 p.m. match.
