Bradford, Pa. (November 15, 2008) -- The Thiel College women's basketball team defeated the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford 58-52 on Saturday.

It was business as usual for senior guard Amber Bodrick (Youngstown, OH/Cardinal Mooney) as she torched Bradford for 24 points, six rebounds and five steals.  Fourth-year guard Catie Sieber (Glenshaw, Pa./North Hills) finished the day with nine points and five rebounds, while Ashley Davis (Cleveland, Ohio/St. Peter Chanel), Kim Stitt (Hermitage, PA/Hickory) and Towanda-Michelle Warren (Solon, OH/Solon) each contributed six points to the effort.

Bradford was led by Katie Moore who dropped in 20 points and grabbed five boards and  Maria Costanza who tallied nine points, three assists and three steals.

The Tomcats will return to action for their home opener against Kenyon College Tuesday, Nov. 18.
