PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Oct. 25, 2008) – Thiel snapped its scoreless streak at six games, but it wasn't enough as the Chatham Cougars downed the Tomcats, 2-1, in Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Senior midfielder #Jamie Dawson (Beaver Falls/Riverside)# fired the tally – her first of the season and Thiel's first in exactly one month – in the 20th minute to give the Tomcats the lead.

It would be short-lived, however.  The Cougars responded with the equalizer a minute later, and then chipped in the game-winner in the 27th minute.

Thiel will play its final two games of the season at home, beginning with its Oct. 29 appointment with Geneva.
