GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 21, 2008) – A stifling Washington & Jefferson defense held Thiel without a shot in women's soccer action Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Stadium, as the Presidents' went on to win, 3-0.

Thiel played a solid first half, trailing by only one goal at the intermission.  The Presidents, however, tallied two more unanswered goals in the second half to seal the win.

Despite taking the loss, Thiel goalkeeper Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell)  made several impressive stops enroute to a ten-save game.

The Tomcats fell to 0-12-3 overall, and 0-6-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, with the loss.

Thiel plays its final road match of the season when they travel to Chatham for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday.
