GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 18, 2008) – The Thiel College women's soccer team improved their play in the second half, but the damage of three-goal deficit going into the intermission proved insurmountable, as the Tomcats fell to Waynesburg, 4-0, Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium.

Brittney Brown led the Yellow Jackets' charge by firing a goal and registering an assist.  Courtney Ebersole scored the game-winner in the 21st minute.

Thiel goalkeeper Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) made eight saves while taking the loss.

The Tomcats (0-11-3; 0-5-0 PAC) return to action on Tuesday when they host Washington & Jefferson.
