THIEL WOMEN SUFFER 84-46 LOSS AT THOMAS MORE

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ken. (Dec. 5) – The Thiel College women's basketball team suffered an 84-46 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss at 11th ranked Thomas More College Wednesday evening.

Thiel (3-3, 1-1) shot just 26.5 percent (9-34) from the field in the first half and trailed Thomas More (6-0, 2-0) 45-22 at the break.  The Tomcats finished shooting 25.8 percent (17-66) from the floor for the game.  Senior forward Elysa Farrell (Greenville/Kennedy Catholic) (Greenville/Kennedy Catholic) led the Tomcats with a career-high 18 points and six rebounds.  Junior guard Amber Bodrick (Boardman, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) (Youngstown, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) added 10 points and nine boards.

Thomas More finished with four players in double figures, led by Jayme Thiem's 15 point effort.  Jennifer Teski added 14 points while Nicole Dickman and Tandrea Sellers each added 11.  The Saints finished with 48-47 edge on the glass and shot 47.4 percent (36-76) from the floor for the contest. 

Thiel will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 8 when it hosts PAC member Chatham University at 1 p.m.
