Lyndzee Amory totaled 23 kills on a staggering .462 hitting from the right side as Thiel posted a pair of wins over Westminster (3-0) and Grove City (3-1) to open PAC North Division action with a pair of wins.

Against Westminster Wednesday, Amory totaled a then-season-best nine kills on .412 to go with four digs and one block assist. Amory followed that up with a career day at Grove City Saturday with career bests in kills (14) and hitting percentage (.500) as the Tomcats came back from a slow start to down the Wolverines in four sets. Of her 14 kills, six came in the match-clinching fourth set for the sophomore opposite.
