McCloskey went 4-0 to win the 184-pound bracket at the RIT Invitational on Saturday to earn Presidents' Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week honors for the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 5. McCloskey won by pin in his first two matches of the day, defeating Thomas Blackwell of John Carroll in 4:22 and Garrett Storch of Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2:40. In the semifinals, McCloskey won by major decision (11-0) over John Carroll's Anthony Rizzo. He topped Pennsylvania of Technology's Jacob Kallenborn 9-7 (SV-1) to win the championship bout. A sophomore, McCloskey was coming off a second-place finish at the Baldwin Wallace Invitational on Nov. 20.
