Freshman midfielder Ashlyn Wightman scored eight goals in two PAC games last week. She also tallied 12 draw controls, eight ground balls and five caused turnovers.
 
Wightman scored three goals, notched seven draw controls, picked up four ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers in a 14-2 loss to Chatham last Tuesday. She went on to score five goals while also registering five draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in Saturday’s 13-10 win at Franciscan. She helped the Tomcats come back to defeat the Lady Barons by scoring both the game-tying and game-winning goals.
 
Wightman, who was named the PAC Rookie of the Week on Monday, currently ranks fourth in the conference in draw controls per game (5.00) and caused turnovers per game (2.00), fifth in ground balls per game (3.75) and sixth in goals per game (3.25).
