Junior guard Rachel Breckenridge scored a season- and game-high 21 points in Thiel’s 72-67 loss in overtime to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in the first round of the PAC Tournament on Saturday.
 
Breckenridge scored 18 of her 21 points in the second half Saturday. With her team trailing by three points (63-60) with one second remaining in regulation, Breckenridge attempted the game-tying three-pointer from near the top of the key. Her shot was off the mark, but she was fouled on the attempt and, with ice in her veins, went on to sink three straight free throws to force overtime.
 
Breckenridge scored a total of 27 points in the final week of the season in two games. She also corralled six rebounds while recording two assists and a steal.
