Freshman thrower Sam Faber finished 11^th in the shot put at Friday’s Youngstown State University Icebreaker with a toss of 39 feet, 11.5 inches (12.18 meters). His performance helped earn him Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Week honors.
