Freshman Gage Gladysz led the Tomcats at the Washington & Jefferson College Invitational last Saturday. Gladysz won the 197-pound title which helped him earn PAC Rookie of the Week honors. He advanced to the championship bout with a trio of decision wins over Heidelberg’s Gage Finegan (6-2), Waynesburg’s Ken Burns (7-5) and West Liberty’s Logan Kemp (6-5). Gladysz recorded his first collegiate pin (4:50) in the championship match against Muskingum’s Antonio Zapata.
