Sophomore Shelby Friedel helped lead the Tomcats to a 3-1 record at the two-day River City Invitational last weekend. In the first game of the season, Friedel recorded nine kills on 15 attacks and two blocks. During the second day of the tournament she recorded a total of 32 kills and eight blocks.
