Lauren Downs recorded 43 digs in Thiel’s 3-2 win over Westminster on Oct. 21, tying her for the fifth most in a five-set match in PAC history. Downs’ 43-dig effort was one shy of tying the Thiel record. Downs was named the PAC Player of the Week for her efforts. She has posted the conference’s top two single-match dig totals this season and currently ranks third in the conference with an average of 5.21 digs per set.
