Meri Steinmetz finished first at the Aaron Slafka Memorial Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4 in 19:28.2, just two seconds over her lifetime best time. Steinmetz helped Thiel’s women’s cross country team finish second out of 10 teams at the invitational.
