Nic Jones earned a pair of first-place finishes in the high jump last week. He recorded a first-place jump of six feet, 4.75 inches last Tuesday at the PAC North Quad. He also took first place in the high jump at the Slippery Rock Open last Thursday with a leap of six feet, 6.75 inches. He was named the PAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week Monday for his efforts last week. Jones enters this weekend’s conference championships with the league’s top mark in the high jump (6-6.75). He is currently tied for 21^st among all NCAA Division III high jumpers.
