Kelly Barzak helped the Tomcats earn a pair of PAC wins last week. On Wednesday, she scored 18 points with nine rebounds and six blocks to lead the Tomcats to a 70-56 win over Chatham. On Saturday, she recorded a double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds to help Thiel defeat Geneva, 64-52. On the week, she scored 31 points (15.5 p/g), grabbed 26 rebounds (13 r/g) and recorded 10 blocks (5 b/g). She also recorded four assists and two steals on the week. With her 13-point performance Saturday, Barzak moved into fourth place on the all-time career scoring list, passing up Cindy Bynum (1984-88) who amassed 1,203 points in her career. In addition, Barzak’s 17 rebounds Saturday were a personal best on the season.
