Taylor recorded six tackles, three sacks and two batted down passes at the line of scrimmage Saturday in Thiel’s 21-14 overtime win over the Geneva Golden Tornadoes. He was named the PAC Defensive Player of the Week Monday for his efforts.
Taylor is currently in a third-place tie on Thiel’s career sack list (25). Chris Lorber (2004-07) is the all-time career sack leader (28). Taylor is in second place on the college’s career tackles for loss list (49.5). Jon Howson (2002-05) is Thiel’s all-time career leader in tackles for loss (53.5).
