Cassidy earned a fifth-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 116-04 and a 12th-place finish in the discus with a mark of 95-10 at Saturday’s California University of Pa. Early Bird Invitational … she has been named to the Dean’s List three times … Cassidy notched a sixth-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 110-2 at the 2011 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Track & Field Championships after earning all-PAC honorable mention honors as a freshman with her third-place throw of 124-2 … she also finished 13th in the discus (94-11) a season ago.
