At last week’s Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. Eric hit .512 (21-41) and collected at least two hits in seven of the Tomcats’ nine contests … Eric, currently riding a 10-game hit streak, also drove in 11 runs and scored 13 runs during the Tomcats Spring Break … he currently leads Thiel in most major hitting categories, including batting average (.500), hits (24), RBI (12), runs (15) and doubles (6) … his .500 batting average also ranks him second among Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) counterparts while his 24 hits this season have him at the top of the conference leader board … Last season Eric was named an all-PAC Second-Team selection.
