Barzak has emerged as the unquestioned offensive leader of the Tomcats heading into this week’s Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament … Kelly finished the 3-0 week with a total of 41 kills and just 10 errors in 93 attempts, giving her a hitting percentage of .333 … she also added four service aces and 13.5 blocks on the week (3 solo, 12 assists) … her best effort of the week was at Grove City College on October 25 as she finished with 17 kills and just three errors in 35 attempts (.400 hitting percentage) and was responsible for 23.0 points in the contest … Kelly, also a member of the women’s basketball squad, has received Dean’s List recognition on three occasions and is a three-time PAC Honor Roll selection … she earned CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Region II Third Team honors following her sophomore campaign.
