Alyssa was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week Monday after helping lead the Tomcats to a perfect 3-0 mark last week … she posted double digit kill totals each of those conference matches, finishing the week with 58 kills (4.83 kps), 34 digs (2.83 dps) and a .292 hitting percentage … she opened the week with a career-high 31 kills and just four errors in Tuesday’s 3-2 win over defending conference champion Thomas More College, then added 10 and 17 kills, respectively, against league foes Saint Vincent College and Bethany College … all three conference victories for Thiel last week were against teams bound for the PAC Championship Tournament … one of three team captains for the 2011 season, Alyssa is a three-time Dean’s List honoree and was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll following the Tomcats’ 2011 season.
