Karen, a junior secondary education / biology major from Troy, Pa., currently leads the 4-4-2 Tomcat women’s soccer program with two goals and three assists … she tallied an assist in Thiel’s 2-1 overtime loss to visiting D’Youville College on Sept. 22 and registered a goal in their 4-0 shutout victory over Salem International University on Sept. 24 … the shutout of Salem Int’l. was Thiel’s fourth this season … also a two-year starter with the softball team, Karen has been named to the College’s Dean’s List once.
