Kevin McLane is entering his fourth season as Thiel's defensive line coach in 2025. He added the title of recruiting coordinator in the spring of 2024.
McLane graduated from the University of Mount Union in December of 2021 where was a student assistant defensive line coach since 2019. A graduate of Seton LaSalle High School, McLane got his start in collegiate football as a student assistant recruiter at Baldwin Wallace University.
McLane has coached Thiel defensive linemen Luke Faber and Chad Morningstar, who are both two-time All-PAC selections and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections.
McLane also gained experience as a scouting intern for the College Gridiron Showcase in 2020 and as an assistant coach at Berea-Midpark High School in 2018.
