GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 10) -- Thiel College Softball Head Coach Michael Kernan announced the Tomcat's 2026 schedule Tuesday afternoon. The Blue and Gold will will compete in 11 non-conference matches before opening up Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play Grove City at home.

The Tomcats begin their 2026 campaign with a stretch of 11 away games, the first 10 being over spring break at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex on Sunday, March 8. They first will take on Penn State Du Bois and Keystone on the 8, followed by Hilbert and King's College (Mar. 9). 

After a day break on Mar. 10, Thiel is back in action against Gwynedd Mercy and Cairn (Mar. 11), Penn and Bridgewater State (Mar. 12), and ends with Albion and Immaculata on the 13th. 

The Blue and Gold travel back up north to compete in a doubleheader at Kent State Tuscarawas on Mar. 17th before opening up PAC play on Mar. 21 against Grove City. 

Thiel remains in conference play when they travel to Franciscan (Mar. 25) and Bethany (Mar. 31), and host Geneva on the 28th. 

Penn State Behrend will come to Tomcat Park for a non-conference doubleheader on Apr. 1, followed by the Tomcats on the road again to Allegheny on Apr. 3. 

The Blue and Gold will travel to University Heights to take on Division III opponent John Carroll (Apr. 7) before coming back home to host Saint Vincent (Apr. 8) and Hiram (Apr. 11). 

On April 15, Thiel will travel to Waynesburg and Pitt Greensburg on the 20th. 

The Tomcats will host Washington and Jefferson (Apr. 18) and Westminster (Apr. 22) before closing out their season on the road at Chatham (Apr. 26). 

Kernan enters his first season at the helm of the Thiel Softball Program.
